The Story of Mira: Navigating the Growing Complexity of Authentication and Authorization at SeclouDurc
Once upon a time, in a fast-growing tech company called SeclouDurc, there was a talented software engineer named Mira. Mira loved solving problems, especially when it came to improving security and efficiency. But there was one constant challenge that kept frustrating her: managing authentication and authorization across the company’s rapidly expanding systems.
The Authentication Struggle
SeclouDurc had recently integrated several cloud-based tools — HubCloud for version control, SafeTalk for communication, ClientConnect for customer relationship management, and FileVault for document storage. Each department had different needs, and each tool required a separate login with its own authentication process.
Mira, like her colleagues, found herself juggling multiple passwords. One for HubCloud, another for SafeTalk, and yet another for ClientConnect. On top of that, some platforms required multi-factor authentication (MFA), making it hard to keep track of all the credentials.
